Job Description

As a Security Officer in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols at a leading aerospace and defense location. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols and de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining awareness of access control requirements specific to the location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations or alarms, coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats or disruptions within the location, particularly in an aerospace or defense environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain all required certifications for armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
