ED/Acute Care Psychiatrist Opportunity - Wilmington, NCSeeking a skilled and compassionate ED/Acute Care Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry in an emergency department setting, with a focus on providing high-quality psychiatric evaluation and management.Position Details

The Inpatient Psychiatrist will be caring for approximately 8 Äì12 patients a day
7 on / 7 off schedule
Ability to teach Psychiatric Residents
Psychiatrists will have access to a full spectrum of care options, including ECT, for individuals with treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Conduct psychiatric evaluations for disposition (admission, placement, discharge) and provide timely assessments for inpatients and outpatients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case discussions
Call rotation with other acute care psychiatrists
