Job Description
The Labor and Delivery unit is a vital department that provides comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum. With a focus on high-risk patients, our team ensures safety and quality in childbirth experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Perform nursing duties and procedures including D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst.
- Monitor fetal well-being using advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have at least 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Experience with high-risk cases is essential.
- Certification in NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring is required.
- Immediate newborn care experience is necessary.
