Overnight Security Motor Officer is responsible for monitoring security systems (CCTV, CAD), conducting vehicle-based perimeter and interior patrols of the park, coordinating emergency responses, and maintaining incident records to ensure guest and employee safety. The role requires clear radio/phone communication with staff and external agencies, administrative support to Public Safety leadership, and adherence to policies and confidentiality. Minimum qualifications include HS diploma, age 18+, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a Texas DPS license; overnight 12-hour shifts covering weekends and holidays are required.
The Overnight Security Motor Officerserves as the central hub for park safety operations, responsible for conducting both perimeter and interior patrols, coordinating responses, and maintainingaccurate incident records to ensure a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees.
Pay Rate: $16.00-$18.00/Hr
Responsibilities:
- Monitor all utilized safety department systems, including but not limited to 24/7 CAD Software, DSS CCTV software, and other camera programs.
- Utilize a company vehicle in a safe manner to conduct security patrols around the property.
- Maintain clear radio and phone communication with officers in the field, park management, and outside emergency agencies
- Utilize CAD software to log incidents and activities that officers are dispatched to and maintainaccurate notes and comments
- Coordinate emergency responses, including medical incidents, evacuations, and severe weather notifications.
- Communicate important safety and operational information to park departments.
- Support the Public Safety leadership team with administrative tasks and report preparation.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must be customer service oriented, friendly, and work with other departments
- Must be able to obtain a Texas Department of Public Safety License within 30 days of hire
- Must have valid Texas or other US State Issued Driver’s License
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in public safety, security,or emergency services
- Knowledge of radio communication protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Background in guest service or high-volume public venues.
- Training or certification in CPR, First Aid, or emergency communications.
Schedule
- 12 hours shifts
- Overnights (7pm-7am)
- Weekends
- Holidays
