JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Acute Care Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Lawrence, MA Service Setting: Community Health Center Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Days, Full Time On-Call Shift Schedule: As assigned (including backup clinician) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Culturally diverse population Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: Acute illness and emergency conditions across various settings FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient and urgent care tools Specialty Backup Available: Referral network Support Staff Available: Comprehensive care team Reason for Coverage: Expansion of acute care services COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: $200,000.00 $230,000.00 annual salary Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance REQUIRED PROCEDURES Diagnosis and management of urgent/emergent conditions Coordination of care and appropriate referrals JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Massachusetts medical license Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine with Acute Care experience Experience: Less than 1 year accepted Other Qualifications: - Bilingual English/Spanish required - Strong interpersonal and diagnostic skills - Commitment to professional standards and continuing education DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide emergency and acute care across multiple sites Diagnose disease processes and administer timely medical treatment Participate in quality assurance and utilization reviews Teach and supervise medical students and residents Serve on-call and represent the health center in the community Maintain accurate and complete patient records Attend conferences and continuing medical education programs Travel to affiliated sites as required
