Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Neenah, WI 54956 (Wisconsin healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Medical/Surgical (5th Floor)
• Assignment Length: 6 weeks
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• End Date: November 22, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM), every weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Holiday Rotation: As needed
• Float Requirements: Float throughout facility and to all ThedaCare locations within a 60-mile radius

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN License (Registered Nurse)
• Associate Degree or Nursing Certificate
• AHA BLS Certification
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience (Med/Surg preferred)
• At least 1 prior travel nursing contract
• EPIC charting experience within the last year
• Experience with Medical/Surgical, COVID care, pre/post cath, and post pacemaker patients
• Ability to float to other units and ThedaCare locations
• Strong adaptability and resilience in clinical settings
• Collaborative and social attitude
• Scrub color: Black
• Travelers must reside outside a 50-mile radius of ThedaCare Corporate Center, Neenah, WI

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients, including COVID and cardiac cases
• Manage patient ratios of 1:5-6, with support from LPNs and CNAs
• Deliver care for pre/post cath and post pacemaker patients
• Occasional pediatric patient care
• Float to other units and facilities as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in holiday rotations
• Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
