A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care for various surgical cases including trauma, obstetrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, and general surgery under supervision. Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, anesthesia administration, patient management throughout the perioperative period, and participation in teaching activities. The role requires active licensure, board certification, and proficiency with EMR systems, working primarily in a Level 1 Trauma inpatient setting with on-call schedules.

SCOPE OF WORK:
Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases under supervision only (not medical direction). Participate in trauma, OB, and OR coverage as scheduled.
LICENSURES CERTIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Must have active MO License Board Certified NBCRNA BLS, ACLS
EMR: Meditech, Medaxion

CRNAs will provide anesthesia services for a broad range of cases including General Anesthesia, Orthopedic, Neuro, Pediatrics, Trauma, and Dedicated OB. CV cases are handled by MD only. CRNAs will also have teaching responsibilities.

- Day off after first call: Yes
- General In House On Call: (7p-7a weekday - 24hrs weekends
- 2 CRNAs covering OB/OR & Trauma
- Remote CV ONLY 14hrs (Mon-Fri 5p-7a)
- Remote CV Only 24hrs (Sa-Sun)
- CV Direct Care - 10hr day
- General schedule - Day Shifts: 8s, 10s, 12s
- Dedicated OB coverage as scheduled
- Manage patient care throughout perioperative period
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments
- Administer anesthesia for surgical and obstetric procedures
- Documentation in EMR systems
- Teaching responsibilities as assigned
- Supervision only by anesthesiologists
- Level 1 Trauma Center
