Local Team Collaboration:

• At Covenant Medical Center, our well-established team consists of 28 physicians and 8 APPs.
• Work alongside our dedicated providers, committed to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with all stakeholders in a positive manner.
• We promote a caring environment, value each other's well-being, and seamlessly collaborate across hospital departments to achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be board-certified/eligible.
• We accept both internal medicine and family medicine trained physicians. Hospitalist experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.
• ACLS certification is mandatory.
• H1B candidates invited to apply; access to Sound's in-house visa specialists, as well as our licensing and credentialing experts.

Scheduling:

• 7-days-on, 7-days-off.
• Open day hospitalist position shift is 8 AM 8 PM.
• Daily coverage for all positions is:
  • 11 daytime hospitalists (rounders 8a-8p), 1 admitter hospitalist (8a-8p)/day, 1 swing hospitalist (10-hour shift 3p-1a), and 1 nocturnist physician (8p-8a).
  • Two-day APPs (1 rounding, 1 admitting 8a-8p) and 2 night APPs (cross cover and admitting).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care and post-operative care to a 977-bed facility (241 beds covered by Sound).
• Manage the responsibility of the floor pager and collaborate with the Nocturnist.
• Receive a high volume of transfers from a broad referral area, including a Level IV trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center.
• Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound's internal informatics platform.

Compensation:

• Hourly compensation is $1,900 for the daytime rounder.
• Daytime rounder base salary is $347K plus bonuses.
• Robust sign-on bonus and RVU & quality bonuses offered.
