Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience for a day shift Home Health PT assignment.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting with a focus on geriatric patients
- Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the office, flexibility required
- Average caseload is 5-7 patients per day
- Uses HCHB EMR system and Oasis documentation, experience in both is required
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 17:00
- On-call required every 3rd to 4th weekend
- iPad provided for documentation
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Main duties include evaluating and treating geriatric patients in their homes
- Position requires flexibility with patient territory assignments
- Scrubs of any color are required; jeans are not permitted
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Mileage reimbursement provided for work travel within the assigned territory
- Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Oasis and HCHB EMR required
- Valid PT license required if applicable
- Ability to manage timely documentation and effective communication
