Join a supportive and experienced team in an exciting locum tenens OB/GYN opportunity located in scenic Northwest Colorado, near Slater. This position offers a robust clinical and hospital schedule with a balance of clinic hours and call duties. The role is ideal for board-certified OB/GYN physicians looking for flexibility and the chance to practice in a well-equipped setting with a comprehensive support team. Job Details: Location: Colorado (near Slater) Position Type: Locum Tenens ??? OB/GYN Physician Schedule: Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call Rotation: Approximately 1 in 4, with around 8 days of call per month; includes weekday and weekend availability Weekend Call Coverage: Provided primarily by certified nurse midwives as 1st call Caseload Overview: Low-risk pregnancy: 50% High-risk pregnancy: 50% C-sections: 20% Office-based GYN: 35% Patient Load: Clinic sees an average of 15???20 patients per day; approximately 6 deliveries per week per physician Requirements: Certification: Board Certified in OB/GYN (ABMS/AOA) Licensure: Active Colorado license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) Experience: Proficiency in obstetrics, gynecology, and related procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and minor office procedures Facilities & Resources: Onsite Support: RN and technical support, including lab and ultrasound services Exam Rooms: 13 fully equipped rooms for patient consultations and procedures Documentation System: Epic for both hospital and clinic use Hospital Features: 39-bed acute care with 4 ICU beds Level II nursery services with streamlined transfer options to higher-level NICUs if necessary Procedures Required: Obstetrics: Management of low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, routine deliveries, and complicated deliveries, including C-sections Gynecology: Office procedures such as IUD placements and minor surgical interventions (e.g., cystoscopy, colposcopy, LEEP), as well as open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries Application Requirements: Current CV with locum history Valid NPI and license details Availability and malpractice documentation Professional references (if available) If you???re a skilled OB/GYN physician interested in an opportunity to work in a beautiful region of Colorado, apply now with Job ID #j-257897.
