Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the only on-site provider for the facility
- Conduct daily hospital rounds from 8AM to 9AM
- Provide primary care and urgent care services in the clinic from 9AM to 5PM
- Remain available during the day for ER rounds and consults
- Conduct acute care consults in the nursing home as needed
- Be on call for emergency department and nursing home from 5PM to 8AM
- Handle emergency cases with an average of 2 ED patients per day
- Coordinate patient care across clinic, ER, and nursing home, all within close proximity
Additional Information
- Montana state licensure required
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Prior experience in rural healthcare settings is essential
- Must be comfortable being the sole provider on staff
