Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel position requiring an active TN or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pulmonary/StepDown (PCU) unit of a hospital setting
- Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient population primarily includes pulmonary and stepdown patients
- PCU nurses monitor and respond to changes in patient status and care for moderately complex cases
- Professional references and complete application required for consideration
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU or StepDown
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted from AHA or ARC
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
