Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med Surg/Tele position requiring an active AR or compact license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Med Surg/Telemetry unit (Pivot Unit)
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- Assignment is a 13-week contract
- Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical and telemetry care
- Blocked scheduling may be considered based on facility needs
- Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates living within 50 miles are subject to local contract policies and eligibility limits
- Consecutive local contracts are limited to three 13-week assignments before a one-year break or transfer to another facility is required
Requirements
- Active AR or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Tele experience required
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- No gaps of 90 or more days in employment within the past 12 months
- No expiring certifications within the first 30 days of assignment, unless renewal is documented
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
