Requirements MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is looking for a Plastic Surgeon to fill their full-time need!Schedule:Full-time needPatient Contact Hours: 36 hours per weekShifts per month: M-F with call rotationClinic Hours: 7:30a-4:30pClinic Days: M-FProcedure/OR Days: 2-4 per weekOn Call: currently rotation soft tissue call in addition to clinic call/EMTALAEither 7 on 7 off or 2 weeks on 2 off ASAP! Call only to start would review clinic/OR needs in the future.Details:Inpatient Responsibility: Yes at MercyOne Medical Center MercyOne West Des Moines Medical CenterOutreach: NoTelehealth: NoNumber of Physician: 1Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1Supervision of APPs expected: NoNursing Support: 1:1Ancillary Staff per provider: 0.5:1Medical Imaging: YesLab amp Pharmacy: YesClinic Provider Daily Volume: 16 clinic visits per full day depending on typeAppointment length: 15 - 30 minPatient Demographics: Surgical and cosmetic patients of all agesEMR: EpicTeaching Opportunity: YesJob Responsibilities: Trauma call ER consults in-office consults and procedures reconstructive collaboration w/breast surgeonsBill Rates Needed for Submission:Malpractice Must be included in the ratesOrientation24 Hour On Call 4000 rate cap to include 2 hours gratisHoliday 24 Hour On CallCall Back after 2 hours gratisHoliday Call BackConversion fee 25k rate capTravel Reimbursements:Flights - 750/round trip cap to include all taxes and fees. No upgraded airfares or seat upgradesLodging - 1.5x the GSA rate cap average for the total stay to include taxes and feesRental Car - 55/day cap including all taxes and fees regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved will only be approved if needed for inclement weatherMileage - IRS Standard Rate*Please Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.*
