Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Endovascular position requiring SC or compact licensure and specialized neuro intervention skills.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Neuro Endovascular procedural specialty within a hospital setting
- Patient population includes LVO stroke cases and cerebral aneurysm repairs under the care of an Endovascular trained Neurologist
- Shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Call is required every other week
- This is a newly opened department seeking experienced staff
- Provide nursing care for neuro endovascular procedures including sedation management, patient monitoring, and post-procedural care
- Follow safety protocols for infection prevention, medication management, and patient identification
- Complete procedural paperwork and ensure patient education for pre- and post-operative care
- Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication with patients, families, and the medical team
- Maintain patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Experience in neuro interventions, Cath Lab, or cardiovascular OR circulator roles required
- ICU experience preferred
- Moderate sedation training required
- Primary source verification of licensure mandatory within 30 days of start
