Cardiac Stepdown RN - Night/Day Rotating Shift

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShifts are a combination of night (19:00 - 07:30) and day (07:00 - 19:30) rotations, with 3x12-hour shifts only. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.
Job DescriptionJoin a leading healthcare system in a Cardiac Stepdown unit, providing exceptional care to patients requiring close monitoring and intervention. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering quality nursing care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a rewarding, fast-paced Cardiac Stepdown environment.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining a safe practice environment.
- A minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Cardiac Stepdown specialty prior to travel.
- Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- ECG rhythm recognition proficiency to be demonstrated during orientation.
- Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
