Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute care to patients presenting with diverse emergency conditions
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, and interventions appropriate to emergency medicine
- Coordinate with nursing and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Document all patient encounters in accordance with facility protocols
- Adhere to current standards of emergency medical care and maintain compliance with licensure and certification requirements
Additional Information
- Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine (no board eligible)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience required for IM/FM candidates
- Current and unrestricted Michigan medical license required at time of name clear
- BLS and ATLS certifications required
- Must have a clean background to facilitate expedited credentialing
- Provider must be local to Michigan
