Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least one year of recent experience, Oasis and HCHB proficiency, and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Home health care setting with a geriatric patient population
- Patients seen within a 60-mile radius from the office
- Average caseload is 6-7 patients per day
- Day shift schedule: 5 days per week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No on-call requirement
- HCHB electronic medical record system used; experience required
- Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and documentation for home health patients in compliance with Oasis standards
- Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- iPad provided for documentation; cell phones not provided
- Scrubs of any color are required; jeans are not permitted
- Local candidates accepted at travel rate
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this assignment
Requirements
- Active PT license required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year recent physical therapy experience in home health
- Oasis proficiency required for start of care visits
- Proficiency in HCHB EMR is required
- Current BLS certification required
- Timely communication and documentation skills required
