Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking the best Texas Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) to join our locum tenens roster for two facilities in Central Texas. One credentialing application provides access to shift schedules at our main campus in Killeen as well as our Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department in Lampasas, offering enhanced shift flexibility throughout 2025.

• Contract Type: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
• Location(s): Killeen & Lampassas
• Pay: Competitive Weekly Pay
• Support: AAA Malpractice Coverage, Credentialing, Travel & Lodging

We offer weekly pay with a dedicated team of in-house credentialing specialists and travel coordinators to expedite credentialing and ensure your shifts fit seamlessly into your practice schedule. 

Main Emergency Department Profile:

• Annual Volume: 50,000
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• Beds: 38 ED Beds
• Patients per Hour: 2 Patients/Hour
• Schedule Options: (9 or 10-hr shifts) 6a-3p, 11a-9p, 3p-12a, 10p-6a
• EMR: Epic

Critical Access Emergency Department Profile:

• Annual Volume: 9,000
• Trauma Level: Level V
• Beds: 4 ED Beds
• Patients per Hour: 1 Patient/Hour
• Schedule Options: (12-hr shifts) 7a-7p, 7p-7a
• EMR: Epic w/ Dragon Dictation

Candidate Requirements:

• License: Current Texas State License & Unrestricted DEA 
• Boards: Certified American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Board of Family Medicine (MD/DO) 
• Experience: Recent/Ongoing ED Experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
