- Location: San Francisco, CA Multiple hospital campuses & ambulatory surgery centers
- Shifts: 5 per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days (07 00)
- Hours: 50 per week
- Patient Population: Adults & adolescents (13+ years)
- Practice Setting: Hospital Operating Room General and regional anesthesia cases
- Support Staff: CRNA
- EMR: EPIC
- Floating: Providers float between inpatient centers and ambulatory surgery centers
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (board eligible considered, especially if fellowship trained)
- Active California State Medical License
- DEA registration (CA with Schedule 2/2n)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Minimum 2 years of recent anesthesiology experience in tertiary care centers
- Regional anesthesia skills preferred
- Ability to work independently in the operating room and oversee CRNAs
- Two professional references required
- Provide anesthesia coverage for general and regional cases in hospital operating rooms
- Float between hospital campuses and ambulatory surgery centers in San Francisco
- Deliver anesthesia care to adult and adolescent patients (13+ years)
- Collaborate with CRNAs and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Participate in hospital credentialing and onboarding processes
