• 24 bed unit with a 1:3/4 Ratio depends on acuity • Patient population: Dysrhythmias, Cardiopulmonary, Sepsis, high flow O2 needs, and behavior patients needing IV drip medications • We have an educator on our unit that works very close with staff • Type of medication drips: dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amio, dobutamine, Nicardine • Could work up to every other weekend • Throughput is high as expected with all step down units
