The HR Support Services Representative provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department, including tasks related to payroll, benefits, talent management, and employee documentation. This role manages the processing of new hire paperwork, eVerifications, and internal communications while ensuring accurate data entry and compliance. Additional duties include ordering supplies and distributing department mail to support HR operations effectively.
Responsible for the administrative support of the Human Resource Department while providing excellent customer service to our employees and service centers.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for facilitating clerical HR responsibilities supporting HR, payroll, benefits, and talent management processes.
- Reviews all status change paperwork to include but not limited to new hires, rehires, salary changes, and terminations. Contacts the service center if there is missing or incomplete information.
- Enters and processes all eVerifies on new hires and rehires. Notifies the appropriate payroll team when the new hires and rehires are ready to enter. Monitors eVerify Tentative Non-Confirmations and keeps payroll specialist updated.
- Processes requests for company employee badges. Sorts badges and ships according to specifications set by the department.
- Inputs application information into the employee system. Follows various processes depending on response status.
- Orders office supplies as needed within the HR Department.
- Collects, opens, sorts and distributes incoming department mail.
- Communicates deadlines, processing reminders, process changes, and other items requested by management.
HS diploma, or GED equivalent, is required. An Associate’s degree in business administration or other administrative training is desired. Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
