Navigator - Patient and Family

Work with a close-knit care team delivering patient- and family-centered oncology and support services. Navigator role supporting patients/families in a healthcare setting; full- or part-time schedules possible; location: Memorial Healthcare System, Florida; ongoing/permanent position (clinical staff). - Must have 1+ year related experience - RN must hold active license; MSW preferred if applicable - Radiation Therapists: ARRT(T) certification and state Radiation Therapy license required - Ability to work with minimal supervision and in high-stress environments

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communications skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of experience in related field. Other Information: **If RN, must be licensed. Master's in Social Work (MSW) degree preferred if degreed.(RT) and certified in Radiation Therapy (T) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiation Therapy License required if working in Radiation Oncology.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited registered/Professional Nursing Program or MSW degree.Additional Credential Info: Radiation Therapy license required if working in the Radiation Oncology department.
