About the Clinician's WorkdayThis role includes obtaining medical histories when necessary, performing physical exams within established protocols, and diagnosing, treating, and monitoring both acute and chronic diseases in accordance with protocol guidelines. Responsibilities also include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing or recommending medications and treatments within approved parameters, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. The provider will promote positive lifestyle habits through patient education and counseling, maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, attend meetings as requested, and perform other duties as assigned.
