The RN will provide patient care across multiple Med/Surg units, float between facilities, administer medications, and document care using EPIC. Candidates must have at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience, an active RN license, BLS certification, and be able to work night shifts and holiday rotations.

Charleston Nursing Job Details- Location: Charleston, SC 29425 (South Carolina nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel RN contract (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital
- Unit: Med/Surg Float Pool (Main Hospital & Ashley River Tower)
- Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,420 - $1,530
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Required
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Scrub Colors: Solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
- Charting System: EPIC
- Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State Registered Nurse License (license in hand preferred; pending considered with proof of application)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
- BLS certification required
- Experience caring for adult patient populations
- Ability to float to various Med/Surg units as assigned
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Must be able to work during hurricane season if assignment falls within June–November
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients across multiple Medical Surgical units
- Float between Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower as needed
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and provide treatments per care plans
- Document and chart patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including rapid response and code teams
- Maintain safe patient ratios (typically 1:6)
- Follow hospital policies, infection control, and isolation precautions
- Participate in scheduled holiday and weekend rotations
