WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in NYC.
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 3x12.
- Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.
- Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
- Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
- Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, and many other medical procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current RN license for the state of New York.
- 2 years of acute ED RN experience is required.
- BLS & ACLS PALS, TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association.
- EPIC experience highly preferred.
