This Interventional Radiology assignment in Kentucky offers flexible weekend blocks, APP support, and credentialing in 30-45 days.
Highlights
- Weekend-only shifts; Friday 5 PM to Monday 8 AM

Practice Setting
- Level II trauma center with outpatient IR suite
- Solo MD coverage with 1-2 APPs
- No clinic or weekday responsibilities
- Procedures only; no diagnostic reads
Schedule
- Part-time weekend coverage; ideal for supplemental income
- No weekday call or clinic obligations
- Consistent PRN opportunities with blocks filling fast
Cases and Procedures
- Core: GI angio, embolizations, biopsies, mediports, HD caths
- Optional: ablations, tunneled lines, nephrostomy, GB tubes
- CT- and ultrasound-guided procedures
Requirements
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active Kentucky license or IMLC LOQ
- DEA required
Travel Accommodations
- Travel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
- On-site hospital-owned hotel with breakfast and snacks
