Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a high-volume vascular surgery team in Jackson, Michigan. The role involves inpatient, outpatient, clinic duties, call coverage, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a Level II trauma facility. Candidates must be fellowship-trained, have appropriate licenses and certifications, and possess skills in endovascular and vein procedures.
We are seeking a Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to become a vital part of our dedicated team at a top-notch facility in Jackson, Michigan. Just 77 miles west of Detroit, our practice is committed to quality healthcare, innovation, and providing exceptional service to the local community.
Job Responsibilities:- Candidate must be TRULY Board Eligible and fellowship-trained in Vascular Surgery (to be completed prior to start).
- Open to upcoming 2025 graduates in their final year of fellowship; a quick 2025 start is preferred.
- Engage in a practice setting that includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic duties.
- Support service line growth within a reputable group with a large volume of vascular cases.
- Collaborate with two vascular surgeons, a nurse practitioner, and certified vascular techs.
- Participate in call coverage, incorporating nights and weekends on a 1:4 rotation.
- Preferred skills in endovascular and vein procedures.
- Operate in a Level II trauma facility.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and EMR.
- Must be TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery.
- Must have a Michigan license (or willingness to obtain).
- Required to be Fellowship-Trained in Vascular Surgery (to be completed prior to start).
- Endovascular skills and vein experience are highly preferred.
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations are mandatory.
- ACLS certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
- Clean malpractice and license history required.
- Copy of the most recent NPDB report (within 30 to 60 days active) is mandatory.
- Current Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
- Current certifications in ACLS.
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
