We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment at a supportive, team-oriented LDRP hospital. This role provides comprehensive care across labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn care, including high-risk obstetrics. Ideal candidates are clinically strong, adaptable, and passionate about family-centered care.
Schedule & Unit Details- Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule
- Patient ratios: 1:3 (days/nights/weekends)
- Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
- Call and float required as needed based on census
- Rural LDRP setting with interdisciplinary support
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 5 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Experience with high-risk deliveries and newborn stabilization
- Labor & delivery management and fetal monitoring
- Vaginal and C-section recovery
- High-risk antepartum and postpartum care
- Magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and epidural management
- Newborn care, APGAR scoring, and phototherapy
- Postpartum hemorrhage and obstetric emergencies
