This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible cardiac anesthesiologist physician in Florida, specializing in cardiac anesthesia with diverse surgical case types including cardiac, general surgery, orthopedics, and robotics. The role involves managing anesthesia care with expertise in TEE and various regional anesthesia techniques within a collaborative care team. The schedule is full-time including weekday and weekend on-call duties, requiring multiple life support certifications and active Florida medical licensure.

- Other Details: This anesthesia opportunity involves a diverse case mix with a strong emphasis on cardiac procedures including CABG, valve replacement, aortic surgery, advanced EP ablations, and Watchman, with TEE capability required, along with general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB cases including C-sections (epidural skills helpful but not required), radiology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, and neurosurgery, with no trauma cases. The majority of volume is cardiac, general surgery, orthopedics, GI, and robotics, averaging cardiac cases per month requiring cardiac anesthesia with TEE examinations. Required procedural skills include arterial lines, central venous catheters, pulmonary artery catheters, and regional anesthesia, within a care team model of 26 CRNAs and 12 physicians. The full-time schedule follows a two-weeks-on, one-week-off rotation with weekday and weekend call, with weekend call from Friday through Sunday from home or hotel within 30 minutes of the hospital. Candidates must be board certified and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
