DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with kidney diseases and related conditions in various locations in the state of Washington.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with various kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), glomerulonephritis, and kidney stones.
- Manage patients with hypertension and electrolyte disorders, which often accompany kidney disease.
- Oversee dialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
- Perform kidney biopsies and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on kidney health and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in nephrology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
- Valid medical license in Washington State
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating kidney diseases
- Proficiency in managing dialysis and other renal replacement therapies
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
