A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care in a Level 1 trauma center with a burn unit, working collaboratively with physicians and other CRNAs. The role involves managing a high volume of cases for patients aged 12 and older, excluding obstetrics, pediatrics, and cardiac cases. This contract position requires board certification, ACLS and BLS credentials, and licensure before credentialing can begin.
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (45-90 days)
Contract Length: 6-month contracts preferred, but can be negotiated
Schedule: 3-4 shifts per week (3x12s or 4x10s preferred) No Call
Clinical Details
Setting: Level 1 trauma center with a burn unit
Supervision Model: Collaborative team with MDs & CRNAs
Patient Population: Ages 12+
Procedures: General (bread & butter), trauma, endo
Excluded Cases: No OB, no peds, no cardiac
EMR: Epic
Additional Details:
Practice Setting: Academic/Training Hospital
Case Load: 100 cases per day
Credentialing Timeframe: 45-90 days (no temps or emergency privileges available)
Requirements: Board Certified, ACLS & BLS
Licensing: Willing to wait for a license (credentialing cannot start until license is issued)
Malpractice & travel covered
