We are hiring for a Nocturnist NP position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of four physicians and two APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.
Qualifications:
- Board certified/eligible nurse practitioners.
- Two or more years of hospitalist experience as an NP is required.
Scheduling:
- Flexible schedule with 7 days on/7 days off.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cross coverage calls on an ADC of 20-40 and approximately 2-3 admissions/night.
- This nocturnist role works in a supportive environment that promotes balance and collaboration.
- Focus on managing cases in an open ICU environment with tele-intensivist coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.
