American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room Holding position in Ohio with expertise in telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and multiple age groups.
Responsibilities- Work in the ER Holding unit of a hospital setting
- Care for pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Expected patient ratio of 1:4
- Responsibilities include telemetry and dysrhythmia management, as well as PCU/stepdown level care
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 to 19:30
- Utilizes Epic for documentation
- Administer care involving advanced protocols such as cardiac drips, non-invasive airway support, and wound care
- Will participate as needed with the rapid response team
- Proficiency in Epic documentation is required
- No requests for time off will be approved between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Experience with IV insulin and heparin protocols, renal failure management, and cardiac or vasoactive drips including titration
- Proficiency in tracheostomy management, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen), and rapid response team utilization
