We are seeking a full-time board-certified physician, preferably in Family Medicine, to join our community Convenient Care. Located within a half mile of the main hospital and ER, Sampson Convenient Care treats patients of all ages for a range of acute conditions. We are looking for a skilled and experienced candidate comfortable with being the solo provider, dedicated to providing outstanding and compassionate care.
Highlights:Operating Hours:
- Open 5 days a week: Monday through Thursday 8 am - 5 pm, Friday 8 am - 12 pm.
Work-Life Balance:
- Excellent work-life balance with no call requirements or overnight shifts.
Flexibility:
- Provider may be expected to work extended evening hours or rotating weekends as the practice grows.
Scope of Care:
- Convenient, walk-in care provided for non-life-threatening injuries to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Common needs treated include respiratory, digestive, urinary, and skin conditions, lacerations, sprains, drug testing, IV fluids, immunizations, injections, sutures, x-ray (with radiologist review), and lab testing.
- Work injuries in Sampson County as well as follow-ups with patients.
Training and Support:
- Assist with training, orientation, and clinical support for new providers, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
