A northeastern Michigan Health system affiliated with the University of Michigan, is seeking a General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage.

• Both clinic and hospital coverage starting 9/5/25
  
• 8hr days, Mon-Fri with Call Coverage, 1:2
• New and established patient visits
  

• Outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, imaging/testing reading, procedures based on type of physician found and experience (i.e. Diagnostic caths, TEE, Cardioversion etc )
• Diagnostic cath, TEE, Cardioversions Loop implant/explant
• Can do diagnostic catheter work if preferred but not required
• 1 APPs, supervision not required. APP will be on leave starting in October.
• EPIC EMR/Dragon Dictation
• 30 Day Credentialing Timeframe typically

Compensation Offered:

• Orientation rate: 4 hrs or less, $375 flat rate. 4hrs or longer, $750 flat rate
• $3000/day including up to 8 hours. $600/night beeper. $2250/24 hr weekend call
• Friday at 7pm - Monday at 7am.
• $375/hour call back
• Travel and Lodging Reimbursement to include airfare, rental car/or mileage, lodging and other expenses tbd
• Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided; $1M/$3M Limit Occurrence-based policy

Requirements:

• ACLS,BLS
• BC/BE
  
• 50 cases in the last 12 months
• MI License or IMLC will be considered
