Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Ability to scrub and circulate cases with familiarity in sterile procedures required
• Experience working in an interventional lab required
• Experience with guidewire and catheter exchanges in sterile environment required
• Must be able to operate equipment for angiography, angioplasty, arthrectomy, stenting, embolizations, declotting procedures, central line placement, UFE, and PE studies with intervention
• Perform dialysis catheter placements, peripheral arteriography, EVAR, embolectomy, coiling, port placements, mesenteric arteriography, feeding tube placements, and IVC filters
• Work with GE equipment and Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: R.T.(R)(ARRT), TMB-MRT, BLS
• Vascular Interventional Registry or CardioVascular Registry preferred
• May float to radiology and occasionally catheterization lab as needed
• Rotating call schedule
• Dress code requires gray scrubs
• Strong IR background and ability to run MacLab Hemo Dynamic System preferred
• Must be outgoing, flexible, open to change, dependable, and punctual

This healthcare facility is a 186-bed hospital with a comprehensive imaging services department featuring a specialized interventional radiology unit. The facility operates a well-staffed special procedures lab with 6 department members including 3 radiology RNs and 3 IR technologists on day shift. The organization utilizes advanced GE equipment and maintains high standards for interventional procedures, providing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services to the community.
