What You’ll Be Doing
Based in the Allentown, PA; not a remote role
Lead regional heavy construction fleet and mobile equipment operations to ensure safety, reliability, and cost efficiency across business lines
Develop and execute a 5-year replacement/rebuild strategy for yellow iron equipment
Partner with General Managers and Operations Managers to align equipment decisions with business goals
Strategic development and implementation of maintenance programs aligned with corporate and manufacturing standards
Evaluate outsourcing opportunities and contractor partnerships for equipment services
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other safety/environmental standards
What We’re Looking For
5–10 years of experience in heavy equipment fleet management, preferably in construction or mining
Strong understanding of yellow iron equipment (loaders, haul trucks, bulldozers, excavators) and DOT compliance
Strategic thinker with solid data analysis skills and experience using SAP, Equip Check, and Excel (pivot tables)
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements
Demonstrated capability in budget management and cost control
Work Environment
This role involves a mix of office and field work across multiple sites within the region. Travel is required to support operational needs and team engagement.
