Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician / Medical Director to lead our excellent team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) located in Anchorage, Alaska. ANMC is a 182 bed Level II Trauma Center, which serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the entire state. ANMC offers over 30 specialties, and provides a full complement of acute medical and primary care services. We are seeking a compassionate professional that is interested in leading a collegial work environment to provide care in the emergency department. Our physicians evaluate, treat and manage adult and pediatric patients in a level II trauma center. The schedule is hour shifts per year with 75% of shifts being daytime and 25% being nocturnal. 80/20 split of clinical versus admin time for the medical director role.
Required Education and Experience MD or DO, Board certified in Emergency Medicine. 2 years of experience managing and leading emergency medicine physicians
