Family Medicine Physician Position Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a patient-centered and empathetic Family Medicine Physician to join an established primary care practice. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient care, including preventive services, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, patient education, and coordination of care. The physician will manage direct patient care through physical examinations, diagnostic testing, medical history review, documentation, and appropriate prescribing or administration of medications.
Position Details
- Full-time, hospital-employed position
- Practice team includes 2 physicians supported by approximately 12 staff members
- Office hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 8:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Requirements Education & Experience Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Open to newly trained physicians and experienced providers
- Active or eligible state medical license
- Must maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
