Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics night shift position requiring MO or compact licensure and travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Pediatrics unit in a hospital setting
- Night shifts, 12 hours (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), three shifts per week
- Patient populations include endocrinology (DKA/diabetes management), pulmonology (cystic fibrosis), neurology, and tracheostomy care
- Will be covering RN duties while permanent staff are being trained on Epic EMR
- Local candidates are considered at the same rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Role involves supporting staff during Epic EMR training
- Nicotine-free campus; pre-employment nicotine testing required
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; KS license preferred
- BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required and must be active at time of consideration
- Previous travel nursing experience is required
- Recent experience with relevant pediatric patient populations (endocrinology, pulmonology, neurology, tracheostomy)
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
- Two supervisory-level references completed within the last 12 months required
