This locum tenens opportunity seeks a full-time, board-certified or eligible ENT physician to provide comprehensive coverage in an Illinois facility near St. Louis starting May 2026. Responsibilities include clinic, operating room, and 24/7 call coverage, managing a patient volume of 18-25 daily with support from an advanced practice provider. Candidates must have or be able to obtain Illinois licensure and be comfortable performing a range of ENT procedures including head & neck cancer, pediatric tonsil and tubes, sinus and nose surgeries, and plastic skin surgeries.

Summer 2026 ENT Physician Locums Job Seeking Full-Time Coverage We Can License You

Jackson and Coker is partnered with an Illinois facility located an hour and a half away from St. Louis, Missouri, that needs full-time ENT locums coverage beginning in May 2026 + ongoing. With coverage spanning across the clinic, OR & call schedule, the client is seeking flexible and versatile physicians that are seeking a longer-term work arrangement and that are willing to provide their community with consistency.

Coverage Need:
- Seeking full-time coverage beginning Monday, May 4, 2026 + ongoing (no estimated end date at this time)
- Ideal situation would be 1 full-time ENT, willing to work with two however

Details for Opportunity :
- Seeking candidates with an active Illinois license/CSR or that can quickly get licensed through the IMLC
- Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
- Scopes of coverage: Bread & butter ENT coverage to include some head & neck cancer, some peds (will work with ages you re comfortable with but will primarily see tonsils + tubes for peds)
- Additional cases to anticipate: sinus & nose surgery cases and plastic skin surgery cases
- Schedule: Will be covering call at all times (24/7) & will work Monday-Friday in the clinic (8A-5P) and/or in the OR during scheduled block time from 7:30A-3P), weekend 24-hour call coverage
- Clinic volume: between 18-25 patients per day (will have 1 APP to help support volume)
- Inpatient volume: currently low, will see some emergent surgeries (2-5 week)
- Office-based procedures can be done in the clinic
- Will be the solo-ENT while covering (current staffed ENT expected to retire around May)
- Facility info: designated trauma center, Epic EMR, 150+ beds
