Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• The nursing process is demonstrated by the staff RN’s ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Performs maintenance and care associated with central vascular catheters and PICCs, including insertion of PICC lines.
• May supervise RNs, LPNs, technicians, unit secretaries, nursing students, and nursing assistants.
• Involves general guidance and direction by the Nursing Clinical Manager.
• The employee will be expected to perform most duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
