Connecticut Nursing Job Details

• Location: Bridgeport, CT 06606 (Connecticut healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) plus on-call
• On-Call: 12–24 hours per 6-week schedule
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday as needed
• Employment Type: Travel nursing, On-Site
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,360 - $2,420

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs in Connecticut)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery or Postpartum nursing (L&D RN experience preferred)
• Circulating and PACU experience required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, C-EFM

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
• Circulate and assist during deliveries and surgical procedures
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, responding quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR (preferred)
• Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends/holidays
