Radiology Physician role in Central California providing high-volume diagnostic and interventional radiology services across multiple modalities. Responsibilities include on-site and remote imaging interpretation, breast imaging with mammography and biopsies, and using advanced EMR and PACs systems within a level III trauma hospital. Requires board certification, California medical and fluoroscopy licenses, and flexibility for shifts including nights and weekends.
Location: Central California (Inquire for specific site location)
Duration: December March (potential for extension or until a new group signs on)
Reason for coverage: Groups contract is ending on 12/6/24
Schedule: 2-4 weeks per month (All four types of doctors on M-F, 1.5 diag on Sat-Sun, 1 IR on Sat-Sun)
Shift: M-F plus nights and weekends (if desired)
Call: Optional
Patient volume: High volume, exact number of reads TBD
Interventional Scope: 100% IR, no DIAG, must be on-site, must have CA fluoroscopy license
On-site Diagnostics: light procedures, reads - modalities based on your providers current experience, group sees it all, if PET CT/Nuclear provider must be enrolled in RAM. Must have CA fluoroscopy license
Remote Diagnostics: Modalities based on your providers current experience. No fluoroscopy license needed.
On-site Mammography: 100% breast imaging, US guided biopsies, all aspects of mammo (NO option for remote). Must have CA fluoroscopy license
EMR: Cerner, Rad Net, Power Scribe
PACs: Fuju for Mammo and Diag and Sonodynamic for IR

Hospital: 613 beds, level III trauma
Group/support: Full subspecialty support
Requirements (boards, license): Board certified with California license and for on-site CA DEA and CA Fluro license
