Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a mid-shift Emergency Department position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of a hospital setting
• Mid-shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend required
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations and urgent medical needs
• All Ascension facilities observe a radius rule; local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate depending on location
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Must submit two separate professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration

Requirements

• Active RN license with primary source verification required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Certification preferred
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
