Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

- Orientation:
- 1–2 days of unit/department-specific orientation with a preceptor
- Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if first-day modules are completed remotely
- NO HOME BASE FACILITY
- Travelers are expected to float throughout the entire zone they are hired into
- Each zone covers a 60-mile radius from the zone’s city center
- Housing location does not change the floating expectation
- Traveler is responsible for securing housing that allows compliance with full-zone floating

- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5–6 (based on acuity)
- Charge Nurse:
- Designated charge on each unit
- Does not take a patient assignment unless necessary
- Night shift charge more likely to carry a small assignment
- Nurse Aides: Yes
- RT Support: Yes (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience (Required)
- Neuro experience preferred
- Drips:
- Heparin titration required
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Scheduling:
- Created by leadership 6 weeks at a time
- Travelers must be flexible and help fill permanent staff gaps
- Time-Off Requests:
- Must be submitted prior to assignment start
- Weekends: 6–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Holidays: May be required to participate in holiday rotation
- Rare, typically for low census situations
- May be asked to float to:
- ICU (low-acuity holds only, within skillset)
- PCU / Stepdown
- Med/Surg Tele
- Any color scrubs allowed
