American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with home health experience and Wisconsin state licensure for adult and geriatric patient care.
Responsibilities- Home health setting serving adult and geriatric patients
- Primary site is Wausau with potential to float to Antigo, Rhinelander, Rapids, Merrill, Stanley, and Medford
- Work schedule is 4x10 hour shifts with every other Friday off; alternate weeks have another day off
- Rotates one Saturday every 6-8 weeks with a weekday off during that week; no holiday rotations
- Patient productivity expectation is an average of 4.5 visits per day
- Uses NetSmart EMR and a laptop for point-of-service documentation; cell phone used for GPS and communication
- Mileage reimbursed at government-approved rate
- Eligible for up to 36 hours of low census on-call time; call back minimum is 2 hours
- Main responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and care planning in accordance with PT standards
- Documentation must meet all regulatory and reimbursement requirements
- Compliance with flu/COVID vaccination or mandatory masking during flu season is required
- Scrub colors are flexible; any color or business casual attire is acceptable
- Team-oriented candidates who manage change well and are socially adept are preferred
- Orientation hours may vary and are not guaranteed during unit closure holidays
- 50 mile radius rule applies until 12/9
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Active Wisconsin Physical Therapy license required if applicable
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required
- NPI number required or candidate must start application process before starting
- Minimum home health experience required along with experience in adult and geriatric care
- Knowledge and experience with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and functional mobility diagnoses
- Previous travel assignment experience required
