A health services network in New York is currently seeking a new, licensed Psychiatrist for a great opportunity with their team in Rockland County. In this role, the Psychiatrist will be responsible fordiagnosing, treating, and preventing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

• Hours:Standard business
• Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Responsibilities:

The Psychiatristwill:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans,including prescription of psychotropic medications
• Monitor and evaluate treatment results
• Provide psychotherapy,also known as talk therapy
• Educate patients and their families about mental illness and treatment options
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Psychiatry in the State of New York
• BoardCertified in Psychiatry
