Job Details:
• Position involves 1-2 weeks per month on-site providing light interventional radiology services• Daily volume of 90-100 cases with 60-70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift• Work settings include hospital-based, on-site radiology• Utilize multiple modalities including X-ray, CT, MR, and Fluoroscopy• Perform a variety of light IR procedures including biopsies (thyroid, lung, liver, renal, CT guided, US guided)• Conduct drainage procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, chest tube placement, and cyst drainage• Perform diagnostic lumbar punctures and myelograms• Administer joint injections for knee, elbow, hip, ankle, and shoulder• Read emergency radiology studies and fluoroscopy cases• Must maintain active Pennsylvania medical license (required)• Board certification in radiology required• Valid DEA registration required
Compensation:
